'A home without art is like a room without windows'.

Mr. Burger's academic training at Indiana University has allowed him to pursue many of his artistic goals. He has been painting since he was eight years old and has always been attracted to painting unique architecture and landscapes. The Midwest Museum of American Art has one of his works of art in their permanent collection. Louisiana has some wonderful architecture and scenic spots to paint and since Hurricane Katrina Mr. Burger has found out how important it is to create painterly visual documents of what Louisiana tries to maintain and restore with some of its landmarks, architecture, and scenic spots. There are some families that are no longer living in New Orleans but they still want paintings of their favorite places in New Orleans. Most of Mr. Burger's work is exhibited and sold at Great Artists Collective at 815 Royal Street. A person can often find Thomas in Plaquemine, Louisiana painting in his home studio. Mr. Burger is very fortunate to be a recognized artist in New Orleans and has created a unique studio setting to exhibit and sell his artwork. Thomas welcomes one of a kind commissioned paintings. Take the time to view Thomas' recent paintings of Louisiana architecture, historic landmarks and landscapes. Please feel free to email him to set up an appointment for free art consultation: thoburge@msn.com
