Frame Restorations
Frame Restoration services are offered to clients wanting period to modern frames restored or cleaned. I collect period frames and a nice frame does make a difference for a painting. We use current frame restoration techniques to bring a frame back to its beauty. We are able to clean, reglue, sculpt details, and gold or silver leaf frames. We do practice conservation techniques for frames needing only to be stablized and kept in original condition. I keep visual documents of all work done on frames before, during, and after frame restoration/conservation project. All hours are documented and a client is welcome to visit studio to see progress of restoration. Please view some of my recent frame projects for clients.
